PEDRRU is a non-political humanitarian organization, serving East African refugees in Uganda. Based in the Natete district of Kampala, our primary focus is in education and child sponsorship. We also provide health and community development services.

You can help! PEDRRU is currently seeking assistance in the following forms:

Child Sponsorship

Many refugee families arrive in Uganda without the resources to send their children to school. PEDRRU connects donors with the children and families in greatest need, allowing them to continue their studies and giving them hope for the future.

PEDRRU provides opportunities for international volunteers to participate in community programs on both a long term and short term basis. Volunteers live in Natete and work directly with the refugees, providing mutual benefits to both the refugee community and volunteers' skills development and personal satisfaction.

In addition to child sponsorship, PEDRRU also needs support for community development and health care projects, and operations expenses. Donors receive a detailed report on how their donations are allocated.
